1. Acceptance and company details
These Terms and Conditions form an agreement between you and Auxilium Labs Private Limited (“Auxilium Labs”, “we”, “us” or “our”). In these terms, “CityHopp” refers to the mobile application, website and related features.
You confirm that the information you provide when using the service is accurate and that you will use CityHopp in accordance with applicable law.
2. What CityHopp provides
CityHopp helps users explore and plan urban journeys using information about metro systems, walking routes, nearby stations, station facilities, supported ticketing and connections to selected mobility services. Available features differ by city, device, operator and service provider.
We may add, change, suspend or remove features to improve the product, respond to operating conditions or meet legal and partner requirements. Some features may be described as planned or in development and are not a promise of release by a particular date.
3. Eligibility and permissions
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If you use CityHopp on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so. Where a user is a minor, use must occur with any parent or guardian involvement required by applicable law.
Features such as nearby stations and navigation require device permissions, including location access. You may refuse or withdraw permissions through device settings, but the relevant feature may not function.
4. Travel information and your responsibility
Routes, fares, travel times, schedules, station details, walking directions, availability and other journey information may be based on operator data, third-party data, estimates or cached information. Real-world conditions can change without notice.
You are responsible for checking important journey details, official operator notices, station signs and local conditions before and during travel. Follow the instructions of transport operators and public authorities. Do not interact with the app while doing so would be unsafe.
5. Tickets, bookings and payments
Where supported, CityHopp may allow you to initiate or complete metro tickets, bookings or payments through an operator, network, payment provider or other partner. The identity of the provider and applicable price, refund, cancellation and fulfilment terms should be shown during the relevant flow.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the transport operator or third-party provider is responsible for issuing, accepting, cancelling or refunding its ticket or service. You are responsible for checking ticket validity and retaining any QR code, booking reference or proof of payment required for entry and exit.
Contact us if a CityHopp interface appears to have malfunctioned. Questions about a provider’s charge, fulfilment or refund may also need to be raised directly with that provider.
6. Third-party services
CityHopp may display data from, link to or open services operated by mapping providers, transit operators, ticketing networks, payment services and ride providers. We do not own or control those third-party services. Their terms, privacy policies, prices and availability apply when you use them.
A link, estimate or integration does not imply that CityHopp guarantees or endorses every aspect of the third-party service. You are responsible for reviewing its terms before completing a transaction.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use CityHopp for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or unsafe activity;
- interfere with security, availability, networks or other users;
- attempt to access non-public systems or data without authorisation;
- reverse engineer, scrape, copy or automatically extract the service except where law expressly permits it;
- upload malicious code or submit false, infringing or harmful content; or
- misrepresent an affiliation with CityHopp or Auxilium Labs.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, partners, the product or legal compliance.
8. Intellectual property and feedback
CityHopp, its software, design, branding, content and original materials are owned by Auxilium Labs or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use CityHopp for its intended purpose.
Transit names, maps, logos and third-party content remain the property of their respective owners. If you submit ideas or feedback, you permit us to use them to evaluate and improve CityHopp without an obligation to compensate you, while you retain ownership of content you create.
9. Service disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, CityHopp is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, availability in every location or compatibility with every device. Journey estimates and alternatives are informational and may not reflect delays, closures, traffic, weather or other changing conditions.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Auxilium Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, loss of profits or data, missed transport or losses caused by reliance on third-party information or services. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited only to the extent the law permits.
You remain responsible for your travel decisions, personal safety, belongings, compliance with operator rules and charges you authorise through third-party providers.
11. Changes, suspension and termination
We may update these terms when CityHopp changes or legal requirements evolve. Revised terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it through an appropriate channel.
You may stop using CityHopp at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are materially breached, use presents a security or legal risk, or the service is discontinued. Provisions that by their nature should continue will survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting any mandatory protections available to you under applicable law. The courts with competent jurisdiction over Auxilium Labs’ registered office will have jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Before beginning formal proceedings, please contact us and provide a concise description of the issue so we can attempt to resolve it.
